S6 back from the body shop

I have been converting to the RS6 body for a few years. I finally sourced a new RS6 spoiler to compete the look. Took it to the body shop to be painted up and installed. Ended up respraying the whole car. Doing it piece by piece over a few years ended everything was just ok. I had the shop re-do it all and make it minty! Turned out real clean, I am just waiting on some new wheels from Rotiform and it will be ready!

Im going with Rotiform QLB 19 x 10 et35 polished lip gloss grey center.

Ten years ago if you had 500HP you were the man. Now days that means you bought a new car.

Last plan is drive it! It's pretty much where I want it; 6-speed, Euro Recaros, and RS6 exterior. I have always toyed with the motor swap but..... it's really enjoyable and problem free.

Wow, super clean. Honestly I don't think it needs a motor swap, especially considering the amount of added complexity that would entail. The 340hp 4.2L is quite capable and I'd imagine even more so with the 6sp swap.

Looks like youre body guys were having a little fun w/ those flames haha. Where'd you source the RS6 front clip from? I'm still looking they seem damn near impossible to find in the U.S.

550 with a tune is a bit different from 340 though haha. One interesting point though is some people have pondered if the BCY V8 pairs well with a 6-speed or not. It may actually be less fun during daily driving. Of course I have no experience with either engine with a manual.

550hp is a bit of a stretch, it's more like 500 - 515hp with just a tune. I agree it's a bit different from 340 but whereas I find the RS6 to be a bit insane while driving around, the S6 is just right.

I have not heard any negative reports of putting an 01E behind the BCY, quite the opposite in fact.

You'd certainly know better than me!

Edit: regarding the tune, Giac's page (for example) says 532 apparently.

    Edit again: 034's stage 1 says 580lb-ft!

I've been avoiding clicking on this thread since you posted it, and now I instantly regret that I did.
