Does the front of your B8 S4 sound like this?

And the car is stock, no engine or exhaust upgrades

Could be me, but I just wanna make sure the humming I hear isn't abnormal.

    Side note:

Any of you have tips on how to mount the S4 badge back onto the ecs mesh style grille?

Hard to tell from my phone but it just sounds like your fan is running. Nothing out of the ordinary.

For attaching the badge, I put a couple pics in the first post of my thread here: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...and-mod-thread

But basically just glue or silicone it on.

    Danny,

Thank you! I figured as much, just wanted to see what else out there has been done. I'm weary of putting too much silicone and it dripping down and drying all hanging and shit lol.

By the way I took the 30 minutes to scroll through that thread. I love the car man, your attention to small detail is much respected and very tasteful. And thanks to you, I'm tempted to order a steering wheel, shift boot, and center armrest like you did lol, FML.

You're welcome! Thanks for the kind words and taking the time to read the thread! Feel free to take our conversation there as its currently being buried in the back pages of Audizine lol.

The silicone won't drip as its pretty thick. Just as a precaution, I taped off the hole beneath the one I was working on, but there was no issues.

I highly recommend the steering wheel. It's such a nice upgrade. The shift boot and arm rest were added to tie in with the red stitch I wanted for the wheel. And yea, that's pretty much how it goes... Someone else made me want the wheel, now it's your turn, and then you'll pass it on, etc :)

Thanks, must be the iPhone 6. But I thought it sounded normal too and was just fans and maybe some electrical current running nearby. I've pulled the homelink transmitter off. That wouldn't do anything bad would it? Like have open circuit making noise or possibly zap me if I grab the wrong wire?
