Anyone with Milltek downpipes been successful mating the AWE exhaust to them?

I bought the AWE Touring system to try out and compare to my Milltek system. From my understanding it's not a direct bolt on and was wondering what needs to be down to make it work?

Should not be difficult... I mated milltek DPs to the factory exhaust. Just find out what size each pipe is and get an adapter.

For mine I needed 2.75"ID to 2.5"ID...I chose to weld it together, but you could clamp them.

I believe he is referring to the downpipe section on the AWE Touring. It is a lot longer and consists of a section of where the Milltek downpipes would be. It might not be the same length as the stock cat back. When Chudidy added his APR downpipes it didn't reach his catback, odds are the same that this will also happen with the Milltek downpipes.

The AWE Touring exhaust is 2.5" in diameter, however where the down pipe meets the exhaust (just in front of the x-pipe) it necks down to the same diameter as the factory downpipes, the AWE downpipes also neck down here.

The Milltek downpipes are 70mm (2.75") so they are a little larger than the AWE.

If you request it from Milltek (purchase) you can get a link pipe reducer from 70mm to the OEM exhaust size which will allow the downpipes to mate up with the AWE system.

Here is a picture of the link pipes, Eurocode should be able to help you out with them. (310) 294-8108
