Car had an automatic transmission before he swapped it to a manual... seats are 10/10 without a doubt.

Guys since i get tons of messages about those. Ive posted them for 700 or best offer! I have one person that offered me 800$ picked up. If anybody offers more than 800$ we can reopen the "bidding".

As an aside; I'm sick of auction type posts. If you want a best offer to go north of your asking price, post it on an auction site. Seriously, you've had multiple would be purchasers commit at a price, then you hang on for a better offer. Here's the thing, if someone told you there were in on your initial price; they should've had them at the initial price.

Don't try to tell me you're just doing what you think is right. There are TONS of us that sell on this forum for our asking price, even when someone has committed to a higher price later.

Audizine isn't eBay.

thats fine, i dont really care what you think. since i posted them AS OBO it is OBO. if you dont like it you dont have to check out my posts. ive parted out my other s4 and ive been screwed by people promising things and then never getting back to me, so ill sell my seats to the guy who offers me the best price and have cash in hand.

Dude, you're free to do what you want, and you've got a good reputation here. I'm not questioning that. You've just had people with cash in hand, ready to buy, and you've upped your price. It seems fairly unethical.

again, post was OR BEST OFFER so i stated from the day one that this is best offer sale. ive sold many things cheaper from my other s4 because i said "deal" and somebody sent me money, then someone else offered more money for the same part. this time it isnt about 25$ item, plus those seats are hard to find in condition like this. i spoke with few guys, one of them lied to me that he is friends with Hugh, and when i asked Hugh he said he dont know him. so yeah. and actually the guy who offered the best deal is from toronto and he wants to drive here to pick them up. and thats why i posted "sale pending" last night. and on top of that i didnt take any downpayment from anyone to hold them for. so i dont think i broke any rules of the forum or acted unethical. i just had the same story with downpipes i was selling, one guy asked me to hold on to them for 2 weeks when he gets his check so he can paypal me money. then never got back to me. lesson learned.

This is the generally accepted meaning of OBO. Perhaps sales such as these should be stated as OHB(Or Highest Bid).

First off I think you're giving these seats away at $700 or $800, so no complaints on the price.

However, you definitely have the meaning of "OBO" backwards. It doesn't mean you'll ask $700 and then wait for a better offer.
It means you'll ask $700 and then take the best offer you can get UNDER $700.

Such crybabies LoL. Generally OBO is for meeting the set price point. It normally is less but on rare occasion it can also be more. He is trying to sell. If the person upped the price by 100$ with immidiate money transfer why should he risk a done deal for others who made a bid but no payment. Obviously he isn't ripping nobody off. I wish i had the money in hand or i woulda taken these from lucca as soon as he announced it lol.

With such rare item you must be quick with your payments lol

OP is not out of line at all. In the event more than one person wants the item at the asking price, the seller then can chose the "best offer" and it turns into a bidding war. Real estate is frequently sold in this type of situation. I generally just ask for more than I really want, knowing that most people have an aversion to paying asking price for something.

I usually do the same thing so i have some play on price but i was so excited that my new seats finally arrived after 6 months of waiting that i forgot how much my seats are worth.
