I been reading this site for 3 days you guy rocks.I'm a newbie when it come to Audi So I don't know that much just know that I love the car.Just bought my first 2005 Audi b6 3.0 two weeks ago with 134,000 miles.Oil change is due 6/8/16.New Coils,Spark Plugs,Clutch,Fuel Pump.Drove it 20 miles fine very smooth and left it park for two week.Yesterday I found oil leak in the floor not much like 1/2 teaspoon more to the passenger front engine side, turn it on a little smoke through the passenger and weird plastic smell. It blow slowly white smoke through the exhaust. No oil on coolant and under the oil cap a little yellow sludge.Valve cover leaking Through passenger side and top of Transmission oil pan.Raised my concern that I bough a blown head gasket Audi but I'm hoping is not.Engine get shaky twice or three time during 1 hr I left it on.Slow White Smoke on exhaust never stop.

This is my on my list conrcerns

    1.PVC
    2.Oil Cooler
    3.Non Synthetic oil
    4.Faulty Injector
    5.After Market Fuel pump
    6.Sadly a blown head Gasket

That oil mess looks like its all from the Valve cover. The gasket is likely leaking. If your oil cap has yellow sludge on it, your PCV system is probably full of the stuff too. This can be checked by removing the PCV valve or the hoses at the back of the valve covers. Warning, these lines are super brittle. A few of us on here swap these plastic lines for heater hose of the appropriate size (I believe 5/8"ID) and a few brass elbows to make the bends.

The white smoke all the time means a head gasket. Theres really no other explanation for that.

Thanks for your respond. If it the head Gasket there no reason to fix the PVC.Some other people mentioned white smoke as clogged PVC.I guess I didn't get lucky with this one.

My recent white smoke was from coolant burning. I'm replacing my head gaskets and doing a tb job, should be done this weekend.

Well mine slowly went at 188,000 miles, your motor seems too young for a blown head gasket. Did you over heat it?? I have been having a nagging misfire between 3000 to 3200 rpm with no power loss. Even on the day I blew white smoke I still drove it home from work 60 miles. You would've thought nothing was wrong. But white smoke means only one thing

That what I was thinking it got low miles. It doesn't over heat,no misfire, run like a dream, just oil leak which is likely Valve Cover gasket and the white smoke that drip like water on floor.

This is the giveaway. Does the smoke (vapor) smell sweet?

Also. You can get test strips to dip in your coolant to test for exhaust gas. I don't think you need to do this though. You need to determine which bank is failed. Personally, I would just do both sides if I were you. The extra effort is minimal if your working on it yourself

Doesn't Smell sweet, smell nothing.I will try again today.Where do I put the test strips on the coolant reservoir?I'm going to do both Valve gasket seal and then take it from there.
