    Hello Guys

    I have Audi A4 B8 (2008) with MMI basic plus (red one) and I really need AUX IN in my car. I searched on net but I cannot find how to turn on AUX in my MMI using VCDS.

    There is a lot info how to do it in 2G/3G but not in basic plus with red screen. But I know that it is possible because I have seen Audi A4 B8 with original AUX IN (MMI BASIC).

    So guys maybe you know how to change coding using VCDS in 56 RADIO module? or maybe you have MMI basic with AUX and can show me your coding?

    my original coding in Radio module: 0144341

    Thanks in advance for help!

    Hi!
    I have the exact same question: Audi 2008, b8, with monochromatic red MMI basic display. I too am looking to add AUX IN if possible. Does anybody have any ideas?

    I did this in my car finally

    in VCDS:
    07 – Control Head -> Adaptation 10 -> channel 1
    add 64 to existing value -> Im not sure if its 64, if this will not activate aux option then try to add more :) I have value 240

    how to connect aux? you have to connect it to DSP
    like here: http://mr-fix.pl/wpis/mmi-2g-aktywacja-aux-in/

    it works only with MMI BASIC PLUS (do you have DSP in trunk?)
