    Those with dynamic suspension

Does your suspension give noticeably more violent shock to when impacting imperfections in the road? Ie new pavement sharp bumps?

Sometimes I feel like I'm getting a "clunk" or "thud" more noticeably at lower speeds but really all speeds. I did put on an Alu kreuz I'm hoping I torqued the bolts correctly.

More violent shock than what? What are you comparing to?

it is noticeably stiffer but no sounds like a clunking noise. just the normal road noise I would expect from past experience.

I honestly can't tell the difference and the manual isn't very descriptive.

I usually drive in Individual, with everything set to Dynamic except the suspension, which is set to Auto.

not a huge difference. if I am going under 35 there is one road with some weird repairs that are somewhat jarring. that said, tires are another big factor on transmission of noise and impact.

Not mine. My previous car was a B5 S4 with first H&R coilovers and then KW v1 coilovers. I liked the handling but not the 'crashing' over bumps and holes (and I replaced the H&Rs with the KWs purely to get a bit more comfort).
In comparison to that my S5's suspension is fantastic. I love to be able to start in individual (auto) but switch to dynamic once I want to drive harder, and even switch to comfort if I have 'certain' passengers. I feel nothing like what the OP describes no matter what setting I have.

Its not a big difference between sport and dynamic mode when hitting a bump or shallow pot hole, but there is a noticeable difference in feel. I have the 19" 235's and these account for the big thud I get when hitting these road imperfections. Even if I am going 25 mph or less, I definitely know when the tire hits a bump or hole in the road.

Coming off of 18" snow tires that are a bit more forgiving with road bumps, I think its the low profile tires that are generating the thump you are describing.
