We dynoed on a pretty shitty day weather wise. There was a low pressure over the area and it was raining hard with fog so very high humidity, two factors that do not help at all for dynoing a car. The dyno room was in the high 60s low 70s temperature wise. Perhaps with a more normal barometric pressure and less humidity the numbers could have been higher but that's a debate for another day.
The only difference mechanical wise to the car is that for this dyno we were tuning with the Integrated Engineering's intake manifold so I have to assume the difference in numbers is because of this intake.
This is the 24.5 PSI run. We did not tune for a higher PSI on this day, perhaps later this summer. I am hoping for a 30 PSI map at one point.
The solid lines represent this year's dyno tuning with IE intake. As can be seen both HP and Torque lines are ahead of last year's run up to about 4750 RPM. From 4750 to about 6200 RPM there is a dip in both HP and Torque figures compared to last year's run. Above 6200 RPM both of this year's HP and Torque figures regain higher numbers.
In the end peak Torque this year is down 12 ft/lb to 352 ft/lb but peak HP is up by 19 HP to 455 WHP.
Can't wait to take out the car on the track!
