    Hi , folks !

Had the Millteks on for three days, and thought I'd share the awesomeness it does to the S6. Haha.
I've uploaded on youtube, if thats alright.

The vid starts out slow, but gets good later on.

Hope no one minds that, and enjoy the millteks ! Hehe.

Thanks for posting, gives a really good indication of what the Milltek sounds like on the 4.0T.

Is this the valvesonic version? What about drone inside the cabin?

Ive been toying with Milltek, AWE and iPE for my S7 - although the recent centre box delete that was posted in the forum has caught my interest as well

    Happy it helps

No, its not the one with valvesonic. I might get that after getting used to this one first, though. This ones the non-resonated cat-back.

Honestly, with the whole drone thing, I've felt like there was a bit on the first day the Milltek was installed. Slight vibrations that could be noted around the cabin too while pushing ever slightly on the accelerator. Albeit, the next day, either I got used to it or the whole drone and vibrations thing just stopped.

During cruise speeds though, no drone whatsoever.

I'd definitely recommend the Millteks. They're well worth the cost, and just look really great on the car. The first days may be quite difficult to cope with them, then again that goes with just about every after-market exhaust in my opinion.
I can't really say anything about the other options out there for the S6/S7's though, since I've never heard them in person.

Good luck with all them choices though, jkwelsh !

Awesome ! For me, it took a bit for them to grow on me. Now though, heck they're awesome exhausts on an awesome car lol.

Once you get downpipes you can go stage 2! It is most economical to buy APR's downpipes since it includes the stage 2 tune upgrade. Otherwise, if you buy Milltek, you will pay $400 on top of the stage 1 price. Nobody has established any performance differences between APR and Milltek DPs and I'm sure it isn't more than 2-3 hp if there is one at all. They are nearly identical designs. However I have no idea how the APR DP bolts up to Milltek exhaust since I have Milltek all the way through including DP.

salman, did you install the exhaust yourself. Any chance they sent you install instructions if you did. I have some for a RS7 but would love a S6 specific version.

You got the Millteks too, eh? Does yours sound pretty similar to what you hear from mine, or is there just this massive difference with the Milltek DP's ? Probably will go for Milltek to be on the safe side, hehe.

Originally, it had the standard stock ones that are super quiet. Don't like those, then again, it is a sleeper car lol.

I did not, no. I just took in the shipment of boxes they came with, headed to the Audi dealer here in dubai and had them install it on for me. Don't think I've seen an instruction manual on the boxes they came with, although, I do recall seeing a set of instructions on the Milltek web on how to get it installed.
    Not sure though, lol. Sorry.

It's an extremely simple install, anyone that knows how to use a wrench can install it. The only thing that is a bit sketchy is getting the rear portion off and on the hangers. Just shoot them with brake cleaner fluid to lube them up and they pry on and off with no problem. Don't waste your money paying dealer prices, if you have access to a lift do it yourself, if not any reputable shop can do it with their eyes closed.

I wouldn't take it to any show to install, i like doing it myself. It seems very similar to the RS instructions so i think i will be good. I know the hangers are a pain from installing an exhast on my previous S4. Can't wait to get back into town and get started. Thanks.
