Question about tape near intake

I just got my preowned 2013 audi s4 recently. I noticed that there's some tape wrapped around this tube connected to the intake (I am not too familiar with car parts). Is this normal or was it a fix to some issue? Also, in the 2nd image, there's a white cable exposed and the rectangular casing around it is misaligned. Will this be an issue?

looks like something was fixed at one time. Either an accident or warranty issue. Can you take the vin to audi and get them to look up warranty history or call AOA to find out. If it was done under warranty. Any accidents reported to carfax?

Carfax says theres are no accidents reported. I googled an audi 2013 s4 image and I noticed that this vehicle has tape as well at the part connected to the intake.

Could it be that they are all like that? Or maybe its just a coincidence this car has the tapes too.

It's normal. Here's my 2012:





Apparently the hole isn't big enough and gets ripped open during the manufacturing process. That's probably why they taped yours up at this point.

It just didn't look factory. Looks like it got re taped is all.
