    The Audi A4 B9 Experience

Hello guys I want to make a quick review here in the B7 thread about the B9. Well start of the car looks very elegant from first sight. it's wider and more comfortable then ever. the rear i have mixed feelings is not ugly but is not pretty either. (opinion) the front of the car looks amazing indeed. it now comes with 245/40/18 tires. all season or summer depending. the quality in the interior is top notch. love the new display very high definition. steering feel is back not like the B8 it felt awkward. this one you feel more the road but is still comfortable..the seats are really nice for an A4 standard. they hold you in very well. The headlights are super bright holy crap. I drove it at night and it seemed like daylight driving. The Dual clutch on this new model has improved a lot. no more jerkiness in acceleration. we already know the shifts are lightning fast. the Idle feels like the car was off. that's how smooth it is. I know the B8 had a little vibration even with 6 miles on the odo LOL. And our B7's Vibrate because racekor
Anyways the Acceleration is very impressive 252 may not sound like much but that thing movesssss...!! It will have a lot of tuning capability once tunes come out that can easy be a 390 Hp car According to my calculations LOL but the thing is......is it worth $45k? well If you looking to upgrade to another Audi I suggest you go drive it and then share your experience here.

LOL Unfortunately I like manuals too but it true is 2016 and technology is taking over. One day all manual transmission will die and people might keep their car for life because they like shifting.

I just bought a lightly used Golf R and I don't think it's going anywhere just because it's a stick.

The S4 is supposed to be offered with the ZF automatic tranny. No manual or dsg, at least that was the last I heard about it.

new automatic are more effective over the total energetic balance. Specifically on gas mileage and acceleration.

But I doubt and I'm pretty sure, in most case, manual transmission will always get higher total hp output, since the losses through the mechanical parts are less (depend of the design of course).

For me, a car guy who driving automatic car ( when he had the choice of both transmission ), is the kind of guy that he doesn't know any spec on engine or the car itself.
Might be my eng side, but doing something while driving, get the feeling of controlling something and knowing how it works, make the line between the real enthusiast and the ''show enthusiast''.

You're an idiot. I have a tip and I'm also an engineer and have turned every bolt on my S4 and most cars I've owned. Get out of here with your simple minded nonsense.
    No longer my "DTM" S4

Rolling STOCK B8.5 S4 for over a year and happy!
