I had my ecu out and battery unplugged when I put my new turbo in. Everything is connected and functioning properly except the warning center in the middle of the gauges keeps telling me that; I'm low on fuel(half tank full), my headlights don't work(both function fully), my brake lights don't work(both function fully), my side markers/turn signals don't work(all function fully), my coolant is low(coolant is full with correct VW coolant), my oil pressure is low(no symptoms of such but this causes me not to drive the car). Obviously this is an electrical fault I presume. I have disconnected both battery terminals and had them touching for an hour but the warnings still persist. Do I need to find someone with a VAG com to reset these error messages?

Yes, you need to scan the central electric control module for stored fault codes. That is address 09 in VCDS. Otherwise, the CECM may be faulty. Electronic devices can fail for no obvious reason in an arbitrary way sometimes,.
