Cant ID red plug under drivers side dash

So behind the terminal panel on the dash there is a red plug. On my car there is a red wire with a blue stripe coming off the red plug that has a yellow wire spliced into it. and runs up towards the firewall in the direction of the ECU. I notice the opposite end of the red wire with the blue stripe has another wire spliced in and goes somewhere else. WTF is the plug and wire specifically and why would someone have something spliced into it?

I'm pretty sure it is the one behind the load reduction relay 370. Anyone have wiring diagrams for that?

I looked into that after doing some research on this and no it definitely was not swapped.

I remember splicing into a red/blue wire when I did the swap for reverse lights, but outside of that I'm out of ideas.

I think that one comes off of a white plug. Came across a picture while googling all this that perfect sums up is how I feel trying to figure this shit out.
