    Self leveling headlights?

    Hwy guys,

    Quick question.

Changed my headlight bulbs the other day and now I'm convinced the auto level thing isn't working!

    Any thoughts?

    Cheers,

Honestly guys I don't know what the problem was. I took the light apart to check all the connections, put it back together and re tested. It worked. I think something must have either been loose or maybe not put back together quite right. I will have to manually adjust them now though as the beam from the new bulbs is massive compared to the old and the passenger side is higher. Always something . . . .

Passenger side is suppose to be higher for safety and legal reasons. Driver's beam is a bit lower to keep from blinding oncoming traffic. Figured this out when looking to purchase lights overseas that gave option for cars that drive on either left or right side of the road. Do a little research so you don't make the passenger side too low.

Just a heads up incase that is what you're experiencing. If not, forget everything I wrote

    Cheers

The rods going from the control arm to the sensor are a common failure point. Water gets in the ball joints and bad things happen.
