    Help! F21 boost problem!

    Hi everyone! So I'm hoping someone has experienced this problem before. I was driving to work today and after gunning through a yellow light the car was struggling to build boost past 10psi. Under WOT in 3 gear it got up to 14-15 psi, but far from the 20psu it normally sits at. I pulled codes with vagcom and got nothing. I'm also noticing what sounds like turbo flutter, which doesn't make sense since I have a diverter valve recirculating the compressed air. Anyone experience anything like this? I'm moving out of state on Saturday and do not have time to tear the car apart looking for this problem. Any tips are greatly appreciated! Many Thanks!

    Maybe a boost leak before the DV or a stuck DV. Is it a stock DV? Or when was the last time u cleaned it if it's an after market like a 007. They need cleaning and grease every 5 to 10 k.

    Wastegate, diverter valve, or boost leak.

    And I'd add that you want to take it easy until you fix it. If you have a boost leak, it will be spinning its guts out to make 15psi. The turbine RPM (shaft speed) is going to be way past safe.

    Thanks everyone! Found it this morning, vacuum line from the DV had broken into 2 pieces. Replaced and it's running great again. I appreciate the quick responses! I was wiggin out with my move being so close. Thanks everyone!
