Hello, I have a 2013 A5 that doesnt come with paddle shifter. Recently i just bought a S5 flat bottom steering wheels with paddle shifter. I just want to ask you guys after i install the new steering wheel, what do i have to do to get the paddle shifter to work. I had some one told me to go to vag-com and change some settings in there but i have no clue how. Is any of you guys have experience in this can you tell me what to do. Does the dealer going to do it for free? Can you do it at home? How much they going to charge for them to change a few setting in vag-com. Thank you very much.

Use VagCom and enable the paddle shifters. Check out VagCom codes in the tech section; should provide you with the exact required coding.
