    Sediment In Coolant Recovery Reservoir

I had a crack in my coolant reservoir so I replaced it last night. I noticed there was some sentiment in the bottom of the reservoir. My question is, will a flush do the trick or is there anything else I can do to keep my coolant system from corroding?

Depends on how attached you are to it.

The important cooling system maintenance factors are using 50/50 mix ratio of distilled water and anti freeze in the coolant mix, for adequate corrosion inhibition, and changing the coolant every two years. The anti corrosion additives in the anti freeze get used up after awhile.

So you're saying even if I flush they'll come back until I replace all the hoses?

Yeah, that's if its the rubber from the hoses. Usually you don't notice this on other cars since the tanks are opaque and coolant is darker.
