Help me find a clean RS4

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hi guys!

Just like the title says, I'm looking for a clean RS4 that was well cared for - enthusiast owned and has original paint with absolutely no accidents whatsoever. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Considering purchasing a black one in Johnstown, OH - if you're in the area and would like to help me out by checking out the car, please let me know. The dealership seems a bit weird....but I'm willing to pay someone to go took a look at it and snap some high quality pics.

    Thanks guys!

That's a pretty nice car. I would want pics of the undercarriage since it an an east coast car. my concern would be road salt. the stats are phenomenal, especially the warranty to 60K and 2019, i think i would go in there and bid 30K, and try to settle on 32K. Good luck!!

I would have them put the car on the lift for you to inspect and then politely say no to your offer.

I'm so grateful for all of the responses. Happy that audi enthusiasts are helping me find my dream car.

http://www.euromotivecars.com/mobile...tails?id=12374 been communicating via email and text about this car. Thinking about sending someone out to take a look at it this week.

Raudidriver has an extremely clean RS4 - I'm just not willing to pay that much when there are others out there with less mileage for $9K less.

Will keep everyone updated on what ends up in my garage. Please keep your eye out for any other RS4s.

    Thanks again!

I am the owner of the car at Euromotive. Owner is brokering sale for me. While I am indeed biased, I can give you honest information about the car so you can get a better idea BEFORE you go through the process of sending someone to look at it.

    2007 RS4
    37,000ish miles
I am second owner (first guy put 18,500 or so and I put the rest)

Car was a daily driver for about a year then was downgraded to "weekend" status once I moved into the city.

I am selling for personal (yet very happy reasons) and have two other vehicles already (SQ5 and Cayenne S)

No accidents, no smoking, no pets, no passengers. I honestly only remember 2 times someone sat in the back seat.

I don't know if I would consider myself an "enthusiast", but I certainly respected and appreciated the car for what it is. Would love to keep it if I had the room.

Aftermarket wheels were on the car when I purchased, as was the Passport radar detector. I do not have the stock wheels.

I never had the car carbon cleaned. Honestly, never got around to it.

All service was performed at Audi of Cherry Hill New Jersey, including the recent 35,000 scheduled maintenance. Never a negative report or suggestion of having anything replaced.

I am neurotically meticulous about service, oil changes, and keeping records.

The only "work" I had to have done on the car was new fog lights (cracked when a rock skipped up) and the center armrest lid (which has flimsy plastic tabs) needs to be replaced. I think I paid around $150 for a new one on ECS.

Car was always garaged, driven in the snow fewer than 4-5 times. In fact I stopped driving it partially because of the snow and potholes when moved into the city.

There is an existing Audi Platinum warranty for a few more years or up to 60,000 miles; plus I think there is also a tire/wheel warranty through this year. The paperwork is at the dealership so he would have the exact details.

That's all I can think to tell you right now, but feel free to post or PM for more information or if you have specific questions.

It really is a nice car and if I were keeping it the only thing I would do would be to move back to the stock wheels.

    Thanks!

euromotivecars is clean and low miles, reasonable price also.
Raudidriver car is mint condition and all the right mods. At some point: collector need and his price will meet :)
Hope something with the letter "RS" end up in your garage soon (it is addicted)

If I were looking this is the one I would buy price is right...some of the ppl really over think this shit.

I actually think I did not drive my past four out of five cars prior to buying...08 RS4 Sedan, 97 C2, 98 C2S and 08 RS4 Cab.

I surely don't look forward to selling any of the RS4s.

Just sold my 91 C2 in pieces for less hassle than it takes to sell to ppl looking for a RS4.

Thank you for the detailed background. Unfortunately, my guy can't check out the car until next week and I was informed a few hours ago that a sale is pending.

I also saw another RS4 listed down the street from me yesterday and had my detailer swing by and take a look today. http://www.cargurus.com/Cars/l-Used-...ting=141093981 Turns out this car had multiple panels poorly resprayed even though it is a "no accidents, no stories" car.

Prior to posting here for help, I actually almost purchased an RS4 without doing a PPI. Last minute, I decided to do it cause a panel of the car was repainted (drivers side rear fender). The picture below shows that the car was in some sort of accident and some bodyshop didn't properly repair it. Instead, they did a quick glue job and crappy respray. The glue is the only thing holding everything together. The search for a clean RS4 continues.....

Congrats on the sale! I passed on the car because of the respray.

Never trust a pic of a car or the sellers description in a For sale ad. You must go look an drive the car yourself. Meet the owner, understand the relationship that he had with the car an then you can be sure you're getting a very well taken care of car.

According to some of the guys in the Rocky Mountain Forum section, I guess this car is not as good of a buy as I thought.
It has its handful of blemishes.
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to mislead anyone, but then again, it has to be seen in person and maintenance records checked before jumping to conclusions

The quarter needs replacing which is $$$, the front bumper grill is aftermarket as well. Could be a good buy like you said but I would definitely do some thorough looking on that one.

Nice find, looks pretty clean considering the mileage. Few things here and there that show some wear, but I've seen RS4's with half the mileage look much worse.

I found the mileage a little on the high side for my liking as well, but from what I've been reading on here, if the car was decently taken care of, 72K is not that bad for these cars.

FWIW, according to the RS4 registry, this car is a 2007-a model (initial U.S. production "launch" vehicles) and was owned by user jeff33702.

The for sale thread dates back to October. I wonder if he would chime in to give a bit more history on the car and let us know if there may be something to look out for in the car. It's nice to know that it was previously owned by someone who seems to have taken care of it.
