    UK Sepang S7 to Black Optic Style

    Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    So, when I ordered my 2016 S7, the one option I really wanted, but Audi UK would not provide was the Black Optic pack on the S7. You can have it on the A7, you can have it on the RS7, but ask for it on the S7 and you will get nowhere. Its not a UK option, so you can't have it was Audi UK's response to my plea...

    My dealer offered to help, at around £1k for parts and half a days labour.....

    Anyway, fast forward to today, and Ive started the "conversion" myself, with the window chrome and lower mirror cases wrapped in satin black, and my carbon mirror caps installed.

    Have to say, Im very happy with the result

    I have the black optic ACC grills ready to fit, and an OEM black RS7 grill on the way

    Yeah I know they are pants. UK parking spaces are like 3" wider than the car Im careful opening my door. My kids don't give a rats ass

    Lookin' good! I'm a sucker for the chrome mirrors, but those covers look nice, too.

    Parking is so tight when reversing into a bay, Ive not yet had the balls to use the auto self park function
