    2016 SQ5 reverse lights

So I ordered a set of brighter LED reverse lights. Went to the manual and Audi was nice enough to say you have to take the vehicle to the dealer as there are no end user serviceable bulbs on the SQ5. Anyone know if there is a way to get to the reverse lights without having to remove the rear facia?

I looked into this before and found this at the time.

    Reverse Light Replacement Audi Q5

I haven't done it yet, but it looks pretty straightforward to pull out that light assembly.

Don't you get a little pissed that Audi thinks you're to stupid to replace a bulb?
Better take it to the stealership and give up around $50. Jeez...

Are the LED lights brighter? Where did you get them?

Well I got them swapped out, very easy as per the previous instructions. now the bad part is it only took 2 key cycles for them to trip the system that the bulbs are bad. So back to the drawing board, seems the bulbs will need to be CANBUS compatible in order to work.

Do they affect the backup camera in the dark? I bought the brighter license plate LEDs for my Passat and can't see crap in the dark with the camera.

My hope was they would be brighter than the stock ones, wont be able to see now since they are tripping the light on the dash. They are coming out later today.
