H&R Sport Springs installed, as well as 10/15mm spacers. Extremely happy with the stance for a daily driver. Purchased from akionan here on the forum. Perfect drop and really firmed the car up. Better pics this weekend if the weather clears up.

Nice I went with the same but 10mm all around. My car is mag ride and it looks lower. Maybe it's just the angle of the pics. I'm 25 1/2" ftg rear and 25"ftg front.

could be the angle. it sits with the top of the tire pretty flush to the fender. ill take some measurements this weekend.

Just measured my fender to ground height this morning. I think it sits perfect and wouldn't want it to be much lower. I barely clear my driveway and work curbs right now.

Front: 25 1/2"
Rear: 25 5/8"

It's awesome. Highly recommend it to anyone with the 2.0T. Gives the car just enough volume while daily driving, and really opens up during wide open throttle. It's a nice deep exhaust note. Honestly, this shouldn't even be an option, as all S cars should sound like this from the factory.

Great looking car, excited to see what's to come. I came real close to getting "OBS3SSED" as my vanity plate here in CA a few months back. I gave up on vanity plates though after the DMV rejected my first 2 attempts. Jerks. Haha.

Yeah I picked it up at Cincy East about a month ago. GTI is sold at this point. I think I remember that. And thanks for the compliments.

Intake and turbo muffler delete installed. The noises are soooo great. No real gains felt, but that will happen with stage 2 down the road.

Finally have a few decent days in the forecast so I cleaned up the car. It is so easy to wash this thing with the Opti-Coat protectant applied. Plus it really makes the sepang look amazing.

I would love to know if anyone has info on what SCCA class the S3 is in. Would it be STX or STU?

Also installed the china eBay shifter paddle extensions. Happy with the look and convenience, but fitment isn't great. I'll probably look for another option.

Had some new rubber put on for the rest of the summer as they were on sale from Tire Rack. Man are they sticky.

Few updates. Did my first track day at Mid-Ohio. The car is great with the new rubber.



Today I flushed the fluid with Castrol SRF Racing Brake Fluid. That should help for this weekends track day at Mid-Ohio. Also installed an 034 Dogbone Insert.

No I still have them on the stock wheels. They are holding up great after a few track and autocross events. The oem wheels will be sold, but I'll use the tires next spring.

They are pretty loud once they have some mileage. I got used to it after 5k miles, and thought the grip was worth it. From now on, I will likely only use them during track or autocross events, as the DWS06's are soo much more comfortable to daily.

Messed with VCDS today. Hit 15k in 6 months so had to clear the service light.

Did the front turn mod to keep the DRL on while using signal, and also the comfort closing windows with key fob.

The wheels look great! I have brand new S5 rotors in the garage. So wish they'd fit :/ Liking the 245 DWS too. The 06 looks thinner visually than the gen 1 DWS. 245 looks perfect. I'm for sure going to copy you on that.

biggest regret of mine is not taking into accountability to getting the sport seats, one big thing i miss about my S4, those seats look incredible, clean ride !!
