    Door removal/replacement

Well after half of a year of ownership I managed to mess up my right rear passenger door bad. Was in a super tight space when suddenly I felt the car hit something and my heart sank. 99% of the damage is on the door and its smashed in pretty good. The rear dog arm took minor impact but only left some scratches and a tiny dent. After looking online I found a door in the same color from a totalled 2009 A4 for 300 dollars. The door itself has one minor scratch but nothing bad. After 180 dollars for shipping and 2 weeks I picked up the door and now the next step I need your guys help.
There are already plenty of DIYs for interior trim removal but thats only half the battle. Im going to need to switch all the exterior trim, windows and interior over.

    My couple questions:

Anyone pulled a door before off a B8? Is it a hard process?

    Air bags in rear doors?

How do I transfer the exterior trim, electronics (harness?), windows.

If anyone has any DIY door links that would help aswell.
-I will try to upload some pictures later of my shitty door and the new one.
    Thanks Audizine

No airbag in the door. Removing/ installing the door is a bolt or two at each hinge, I think you need a metric triple-square bit. Two people to remove and install the door onto the car is a must. Trim, inside and out are all easily removed/replaced. May have to adjust the hinges and striker plate to get the door alignment tweaked-in.

What is a "rear dog arm" ??

Hopefully the paint color on the replacement door matches. Even the same paint color code can have batch variations from the factory....nevermind fading.

Good point. Either way will probably look better than what he's got right now.
