It's that finally time of year again! There's an excellent car show called Caffeine and Carburetors (http://caffeineandcarburetors.com/) scheduled for April 17th in New Canaan, CT, and as we've done previously I'm coordinating a quick meetup shortly beforehand so that we can check out each others' cars and ride in together.
The show is early Sunday morning, its pretty informal but most of the cars are there around 8 and it ends around 11. We'll meet at 7am, and the specifics are below. It sounds like it's too early to be worthwhile, but the cars are insane and the environment is great.
Before anyone complains about the early call time, I'd like to ask a question. Where else will you see a McLaren P1, a Porsche 918, a Ferrari LaFerrari, a Lexus LFA, and a Pagani Huayra, all of which were driven into the event, parked on the street? This was the case last year. There are also usually dozens of 911s, quite a few Audis, and at least 20 assorted other Ferraris along with other random cars from Model Ts to modern and vintage supercars.
Who can make it?
The specifics:
Date: Sunday, April 17th
Time: 7am meet, the actual show gets going around 7:30 so we will leave the meet location at 7:30
Location: Park and Ride lot starred below. The show is in downtown New Canann on Pine and Elm Streets.
It is starred in the screenshot below. The lot isn't huge but probably has room for 20 or 30 cars.

If you want to show your car, it is free and open to anyone. If we get a group of guys who want to show, we can organize the caravan in so that they split off into a separate group.
For those who just want to attend and park their cars outside, we will park in the starred parking lot in the photo below. If we get hassled about it we can park in the "official" lot, but there have been no issues in the past. Getting to the actual event at 7:40 or so is early enough that there should be ample parking.

A few photos from the two shows I went to last year. They run four a year, but the first one (April) and the last one (October) typically have the best cars.

Hope to see a great turnout this year!
