    Coil Pack Conduit

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hey everyone,
Is there a DIY or any information on installing the B7 audi A4 2.0t coil pack conduit?
I have searched, I have googled and I have found nothing. Maybe I am wording it wrong. I know someone has done it. I just want to make sure I am doing it "right" before I start cutting.

    Thanks in advance

This is the part I am referring to.

The part splits into 2 halves and just clips over the wires which is why you can't find a DIY. Just put it on. Wrap some tape over the free ends if you want secure it.

OK, It appeared there was more to it than that. Which is why I was asking. As I tried to put it on yesterday and it looked like the factory protective coating needed to be removed. As well the rubber boot that goes on the coil pack connector. Have you installed the conduit on your B6 A4?

Nothing needs to be removed from the ignition harness or boots. The conduit simply snaps open, drop in the harness, and snap close.

It needs a bit of modifying to make the wires fit, but if you have to rebuild your harness it definitely makes it look pretty clean.

I installed it on a B5 AWM, cut out the boots, otherwise it cannot snap over the connector. Made a little hole for the ground wire, and shaved a bit off the end to fit next to the SAIP pipe. But other than removing the boots and ties that hold the harness to the valve cover, no other modifications needed to the harness.

I have the conduit on my car. Will be doing a coil pack and spark plug replacement very soon (hopefully this weekend). Will take pics.

What's this about a fuel injector conduit???

Ben, I tried installing the coilpack conduit with no success. After trying to get it to fit I think the rubber boots needed to be removed. It just did not fit. Sorry I couldn't give you more info but I'm curious to know how everyone else is getting them on.
