Hi, i install a new diverter valve revision d with a forge spacer (yes i know), my problem is when i drive the car for the first 10 minutes, the spacer make the sound of the diverter working (psss), but after that time dont make any sound in all day, my question is this normal?, or the diverter valve is not working and my turbo is in danger? Thanks

I guess my first question is how did you deduce that this sound you are hearing has anything to do with your diverter valve? You just started noticing it after you did the install?

My forge spacer I used to have, had a tab I could push down on to close the holes to vent. Idk if you have the same one, but perhaps it closed on you?

    Or the DV is stuck

I think your DV is stuck I would take it back out and check it to make sure it's not stuck and grease it. How's you boost?

No, my question is if the DV should be working all the time, because of the spacer i can hear when the DV is open.

    Psss noise = DV open

    No noise= DV close

I have the piston style DV and it got stuck open, so I took it out and took it apart and used some bearing grease to make sure it's opening and closing properly.

Responds better and faster less leaks and won't get stuck

Are you tuned? I though if tuned I thought version G would tear very easily? I know I only got about 3k-4k miles on mine once I tuned (but it was my factory DV with 80K miles on it before the tune).
