What's a used Brembo GT BBK worth?

Although I just purchased a full RS5 8 Piston BBK, a buddy of mine told me that he may be selling his 6 piston Brembo GT BBK.

Would it be better to take his instead and part ways with my RS5 kit? Others have mentioned that this is a better kit than the Stock RS5 setup despite having two fewer pistons. Is this true?

He has had it on his B8 S5 for probably 20k-25k miles and would be including used pads, lines, and two piece drilled rotors as well (in pretty decent shape from what I can tell).

Anyone know how much a kit like this might typically go for on the used market? He mentioned that he's trying to get around $3k. Seems sort of high to me but I'm not sure. I know they retail for around $4,500 or so brand new.

Also, If I don't end up taking it, I could possibly help someone get a deal if anyone's interested.

Anyone know a price that might be more in line? I get that it's an expensive kit to begin with. Would it be fair for me to offer $2,500? Too high? Too low?

From what I understand, it has everything I need to bolt it right up.
