My car was originally equipped with an RNS-E and Park Distance control. I recently bought a Sirius satellite radio receiver Part# 8E0 035 593D and my car is not recognizing the device. Do I need to code in the receiver via VAG-COM/VCDS? If so how do I do it. If not did I purchase a bunk receiver? Thank in advance for the help.

I don't think you can get Sirius w/o a subscription unless the unit you purchased already had it active.

Be sure to switch the connection behind the passenger side panel in front of the door. There is a DIY but I can't find it again.
