    Vag-Com/VCDS Question

Would it be possible to code out my fog lights/the bulb out warning. I am removing them from my car and want to avoid the warning. I am thinking it might be possible to replace the code with one from a DTM spec car but am unsure. Thanks in advance for the help.

idk about doing that with VCDS, but you may be able to ground it out.

No. No tool can do this. Nobody has ever really decoded the Central Elect module to see how the programming works. There are some ROW / Canadian 'low-line' cars that do not have bulb out warning logic.
Otherwise if you aren't going to have fogs at all you might leave a bulb plugged into the holder and then hide it somewhere way up out of the way so the car doesn't nag you. OR find the particular resistor value to fake a bulb.

I think I am going to see if I cant source a resistor. Thanks for the help. Before I go on the hunt anyone know the value offhand?
