I own a 2011 S5 Sportback (the 5 doors version that doesn't exist yet in the US)
I bought it with 28000kms in september 2014 (thats around 18k miles). It is well equipped. I will attach some pictures in a chronological order, because as you might expect I have made some changes to it.
Now when I first got it, it threw me some EPC warnings a couple of times, and the engine went into some kind of safe mode, when I needed to turn it off and back on to make it go away.
I went to Audi a first time, they said it was just some misfires, it can happen, especially since I just bought it and who knows how long it has been sitting at the shop (private garage, not audi) before I bought it. Well ok... then it happened again..only this time it made a weird big clunking noise and the car would start again. I towed it back to Audi.. it looked bad.. it was last july. They kept the car all summer long. It was out of warranty but since it had done it's services at the dealer every time and since it had so few kilometers on the clock (around 25k miles..) they were kind enough to cover the whole price for.. a brand new engine ! What they told me is this : a valve broke off and got sucked into the supercharger into all cylinders.. (it is unclear to me how something like that might happen..) So they said it wasn't normal for an engine with so few miles on the clock to die like that, they changed it, along with the charger. I had to pay for labor which was around 3500 euros.. (about the same USD)
When I got my new engine I realized I was going to keep this car for a while so I started modding.
I got new wheels (I had 18" now 19), stage 2 from MRC (they change the crankshaft pulley, not the charger one), AWE intake with custom modification of the air box, eibach springs, HR sways, 034 motorsport insert package (trans, mounts, diff...), spacers, new steering wheel.. tinted the windows, zimmerman disks with ferrodo DS performance pads, goodridge flexibles,
it makes around 490HP, and 590NM of torque. It is a great car I love it.
I've always thought the oil temp was high, even though the coolant was always fine, but after reading all the carbon buildup threads I think I like it that way. It never really goes above 120 degrees celcius anyway. Most of the time on the highway its around 116. I've made a little airway towards the oil-coolant exchanger to hope and reduce the temp but it didn't change anything.

Thanks for reading, I'll post more stuffs later !
