Sounds like the possibility of a 200mph car when tuned ??

    I wouldn't doubt 190mph in stock form.

I think 200mph is a possibility when tuned. I've seen three different videos of tuned B8 S4s doing 192-193mph, and a tuned S6 makes significantly more power!

The car may be capable of 200, but my testicles have limiters at about 150! (maybe if I was on an airplane runway I could turn 'em off)

Thanks for your input guys. I was thinking she should top 180 pretty easy. It is heavy and not the most aero car in the world but the gearing has to be right. 4.09 rear ends are typically not what you would call top speed
gearing but the over driven top 4 gears eliminate the issue all together. I bet with a little gearing swap and proper tuning and enough real estate she would top 200 pretty easy. I was looking for stock and curious if anyone tried
it stock just the speed limiter turn off. If I am not going to tune my car so is there a way to remove the speed limiter and not impact my factory warranty? I would think someone would make a piggyback OBD plug in that would accomplish
that fairly cheaply. I live out west have plenty of places to open her up on very lonely wide open remote roads. I took my car N a few days ago on my western Autobahn route. I got to one section after 8 hours in the car running hard and
had an average speed of 83 MPH. I came to a section that is perfectly straight and you can see everything for 30 miles. This is on the Nev./Or. border heading N toward Denio. I ran 125 to 130 mph for about 20 to 25 minutes. I gained 1 mile an
hour on my average to 84. Running hard all the way to PDX I only picked up another 1 MPH ave to 85. Then I got stuck in PDX traffic and my average was down to 78 by the time I got home. I still shatter my old record my 50 minutes. 1389 miles
17 hours and 51 minutes. That was a very good start to a new relationship with my new ride. I will say my other girl (Maserati Coupe GT) is very pissed she got left in AZ in the garage.
