2004 A6 Quattro Avant. DASH Turn signals dont work

So this is a very interesting issue that I'm dealing with. I have a 04 A6 QUATTRO Avant
So everything with the turn signals work perfectly. All the lights on the outside of the car are good and the emergency flasher is working great. JUST REPLACED WITH NEW JUST TO MAKE SURE.
So when I indicate a left turn the relay clicks CORRECTLY, the lights on the outside of the car BLINK CORRECTLY. Also when I indicate a right turn signal light, THE SAME THING, EVERYTHING WORKS.
The problem is the signal on the dash does not work for right or left, even when i put the flashers on, no dash turn signals work. Everything on the outside of the car indicates what i want it to. However the dash TURN SIGNALS don't show any lights. Now I have a hard time believing that both bulbs have gone bad. They are LED, NOT REALY SOMETHING THAT CAN BE CHANGED. Has anyone ever experiences this? There must be something that sends a reduced amount of power to the LED so it doesn't get to much voltage.

Might be worth removing the instrument cluster and reseat all the harness connectors that connect to the cluster. There are instructions arund elsewhere on this forum - don't remember where but it's only a couple of screws and shouldn't take more than about 15 mins to check.
