Trading in the RS4 = some nice parts for you guys

Haven't made a FS ad yet, but it seems that many people use this section as a parts for sale section. My RS is getting traded in, moving to Porsche land. I am deciding between an '07+ 997 Turbo 6sp manual coupe or a '13+ Carrera 4S 7sp manual coupe.

Here's what I got, all sitting in my garage, cleaned and ready for your RS4:

Updated 4/22/16

JHM BNIB catted, v-band downpipes (never even opened the box, just paid $1850 for them and waited a few weeks)
XSpower catless downpipes - about 40k miles on these
DTM carbon front splitter - damage from a parking lot concrete block has been repaired and sanded, will need to be painted or plasti-dipped. Already modified and drilled for RS bumper mounting
LED tail lights - they have the clear strip at the bottom. Fully functional, these are not the JOM ones but the ones that have the crescent shaped LED pattern which I think looks better
DTH carbon right engine cover - I will need a trade with your stock one
2010+ RNS-E w/ aux cable - Need your stock radio

The taillights:

XS Downpipes (flex joints are shot)

Everything located in northern NJ but I have a truck to meet halfway for people relatively close. I have pics of everything which I can send via PM. I will miss the RS4 but definitely will be lurking here. The Mario drama is too good to leave this forum for!

Guys I'm so sorry for the typo - it's the Milltek not MTM catback. I had MTM in my head because I was reading Dennis' thread yesterday. Responding to PMs now.

GLWS - recently added a 997.1TT and unfortunately never feel like driving the RS anymore. My advice RE: Porsche - don't drive a Turbo unless you plan on buying. The torque is addictive and will make the Carrera 4S feel slow (as well as the RS4)

I would go for the Turbo too...or a later GTS which is as close to a GT3 as you can get without the premium.

I can't believe how many messages I've gotten on this stuff! Trying to play catchup today.

In the meantime - you guys would choose the 997TT over the 991 4S? Keep in mind I'm looking for something with newer tech, and I prefer the looks of the 991 over the 997, but I've never driven a C4S so I'm not sure if I will be impressed or not with the powertrain.

I would drive the 991 and see how you like it. The 997TT in stock form has 50hp more, is lighter and with minimal work can be tuned into an absolute rocket ship. I think it really depends on what your goals are with the car. Although, you are right the looks on the new C4S are killer.

Just checked to make sure I responded to everyone. If there is anyone I missed I sincerely apologize. My PM box got bombed with messages, but surprisingly, nothing sold yet. Do you not like the prices? What do y'all think the JHM sells for, $2500?

I'm sorry but I can't give this stuff away. I need $3200 for the JHM system, the downpipes alone cost me $1820 and they have never been removed from the box. Bought the catback from Dennis and it's sitting in blankets in my garage, untouched.

I have a truck so we can do meetups if need be. The parts are in nice shape, I take care of all my stuff.

I will get more pics of the Milltek system when I get it back from my shop in the next couple of days - I'm thinking for the entire system with the downpipes and catback like, $1,000 or best offer. Looking for $800 for the GruppeM with 034 hose.

REALLY want an R8 V10. They're just slightly out of my range. Suppose I could wait a little bit... but I'm at that stage where I'm ready to move on. Had the car for 5 years, loved every second of it. Just want something else, and sooner than later.

Same boat, I'd prefer the V10, but the 8 is fine, still quick with a nice chassis. I have held onto mine for over 7! It's still weird to think about moving away from her. I'm there though too....
