Turbo muffler delete, turbo outlet pipes, and throttle pipe...

Are any of these aftermarket parts worth it? I can see how they are better designed and have larger, smoother air flow. But, I am thinking it might just be better to go straight to an aftermarket intercooler. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

I installed my piping at the time of my Wagner IC. Very satisfied with the overall results.

Turbo muff delete sounds good with an open element folter

I got the turbo muffler delete just to hear more turbo spool. It was installed the same time my downpipe was, so not sure what other noticeable differences it made, probably hard to tell if any anyways.

A turbo outlet pipe came with the BOV I got, so I also ordered the throttle pipe, just to complete the package. I'm probably getting these installed in about a month, not expecting much of a difference, but maybe turbo lag will get even further reduced. I'll report back. The dyno chart they (Spulen) put up shows a tiny increase in HP and a tiny decrease in torque. Seems like it's really in the noise and not butt dyno detectable.

After these get installed, I think that will mean I've replaced all the cool and hot side piping/hoses, since I have the full boost hose kit already installed, and a full intake.

Not really interested in sound. More interested in is it worth it for performance.

Hmm... Well, I am probably sticking with the stock airbox, but I am replacing the the accordion intake hose with a silicone hose. I think I may just get the intercooler first. Not really in it for the sound. I want added performance.

intercooler first is the way to go IMO, the other tidbits are just for fun unless you going stage3 and need to worry about boost leaks with the oem hoses.

Then skip the turbo muff delete. Maybe save for a bigger IC.

I ended up doing that. I ordered the APR intercooler and the APR silicone boost hose kit. I don't mind the sounds, but if it is a sound only mod and no performance benefit, then I will probably skip it. If it were a V8 exhaust sounds, well that's a different ball game.

It's literally a turbo muffler delete. So all it does is remove the component that muffles the sound of the turbo.

Actually it reduces lag and increases throttle response. Also allows turbo to spool up faster and longer....the significance is minimal but ever little bit helps.....the hose kit (throttle and discharge pipes) also allow for better breathing.
