    Car revs while driving...

I need help identifying where this problem is coming from.....while driving anywhere from 35 mph to 50 mph my audi will rev up at least 200 rpm and then go back down to where it was. It does it over and over there is no stopping unless I get over 2000 rpm. The car will continue to drive at the same speed as its doing this. I can hear it as I drive and would assume it's the reason my gas is going away so quickly. Some one help me please

That sucks I assumed it had something to do with how the car was receiving gas or something because it has problems cranking too but I do believe those are spark plugs

Get it on the highway, get into 5th, and in lower rpms hammer on it. If the rpms rise, but the speedo doesn't, clutch is on its way.

Well, if at any point the rpms rise and the speed doesn't, clutch is on its way.
