Catless downpipes only or full turbo back sport exhaust for '16 RS7?

Unitronic doesn't have stage 2 ready (i.e. software plus downpipes) for another few months. So, I'll do Unitronic software and was looking at a different supplier for downpipes. My tuning shop offered these options from Milltek:

    (1) Milltek Catless downpipes with extensions to stock exhaust

    or

    (2) complete Miltek turbo back sport Exhaust with valveing like stock

There's a $3500 price difference between (1) and (2), but got a great deal on (2) if I go with that option. Any thoughts? I currently have the RS7 sport exhaust and love the sound.

Sadly, the options are limited in Canada. Less choices generally and, since the car is my daily driver, I have to be mindful of driving in low temperatures for a lot of the year. I think this limits the options even more.

In terms of the software, I'd like to stick with Unitronic. However, they don't have hardware (i.e. downpipes) available yet to couple with their software. I'm advised Milltek downpipes with cats will not work on the stock exhaust. The only way to make it work with the stock exhaust is to get Milltek's catless downpipes. Milltek makes a connections pipe that matches up the stock exhaust to the catless downpipes. Unitronic's software tune is ok with the Milltek catless downpipes. The alternative is to get the full out Milltek turbo back sport exhaust which is designed for Milltek's downpipes but, of course, there's an added cost to this ($3,500 more). I'm looking for reliability and to maintain the current stock sport exhaust sound as much as possible.

stageII is pointless imo. the incremental increase you get by going stageI-II is not worth it imo.
i did stageII on my old TTRS and frankly it was a waste of money.
all the time and money spent upgrading the pipes not to mention the depreciation on the vehicle because of that made it a silly decision imo.

spend your hard earned money on the best stageI for you and call it a day.

Actually an interesting point. Maybe just a software tune and new wheels. Forget the downpipes.

If you are happy with stock exhaust, do nothing but I like it to be louder so I went with Miltek Non-Res exhaust system. Would love to be a "baller" with Akra too but I can't justify extra cost.

This is the system I have. http://www.tagmotorsports.com/millte...exhaust-system

I have been saving the money for APR's st2 kit, but here in Korea, it is too expensive! With labor, it is about $3,600. Sad...

Honestly I don't know if the "valving" does much. I have the ValveSonic setup. It turns out those valves are OPEN quite often, including at low speeds. They close during 4cylinder mode and some other select times. Someone here (and on AW, another forum) has done a comprehensive write-up on when they open/close if you look around.
