pretty ugly, but the exterior is great as is the performance, but the is250 is ugly all around

They are very nice indeed, look best when in motion, IMO. Very much a baby GS, with some new BMW 3 Series thrown in (the rear end).

The IS250 looks identical to the IS350, just the engine is different. Has similar figures to a 2.0T A4. The IS350 is kind of between a 3.2 A4 and an S4, power wise.

Saw my first one a few weeks ago, at night. Windows all blacked out, it looked mean! I'll admit I was staring.

yeah, they did a pretty nice job. just wish they'd released the 6-sp right away. and come on. . . beef up the AWD system so it can handle the bigger engines, Lexus!

i was actually debating between the IS and the A4..
i dont know.. its asian against german... i had to go german..
all the cars i had before were japanese.. and i was tired of it.. they feel light..
and the IS 350 is nice.. not the IS 250.. but both are waaayy overpriced..
also.. i got my car two months ago.. i didnt feel like waiting.. i was kinda expecting to be overpriced.. is just too much technology..

if i had the money i would def jump on one, they are japanese at heart, which means they will be a whole hell of a lot more reliable then our audi's...and could be more fun to spin around, mmm rwd

I went from an 01' IS300 to my 99.5 A4 and would go back to the new IS300 any day if they were more in my price range. I think Lexus did an amazing job designing the new IS!

too bad they turned the IS in to a pig...Its heavier than the previous generation by like 250lbs IIRC. I like the old IS300 better.

the old one sucked, but it was way better
at least, unlike most acuras like the TSX, it has rwd
but i test drove one and it was very dull and boring
very comfortable and well equiped, but dull

I'd hit it. As a matter of fact, my gf wants one...either tht or step up into a new A6...they deifnitely need to offer a stick in the IS350 though.
