    FCP Sale on B7 Calipers

I apologize if this has been posted before, since I don't frequent the B6 forum. But FCP has the B7 front calipers up on clearance. They're remanufactured ones, but that's still a pretty decent price for them as far as I can tell. And FCP has amazing customer support.

There is a $75 core charge which means you would need to send them a B7 caliper back in return.

I just went through pricing these on rockauto and despite being cheap after the core charge, once I added the cost of shipping to me, then sending core back to them, it turned out cheaper to just find a used set and rebuild them with new seals and hardware.

Most people here have no cores to send back, so they eat the cost.

So you're saying if I buy calipers from them, they charge me the price as if I sent in a core into them and if I never send in one they never charge me anymore?

No, they charge you full price. When you send them your core back you will receive the core charge back. They're not gonna take a risk wondering if you'll send them a caliper back or not.

That's what I thought. For some reason I read redline's comment as Rockauto eats the cost. Thanks for the clarification.
