Hey guys, I've found a 2013 s4 with 63k miles. Clean title with no accident and one owner vehicle. Car drives good and it's black with black interior. The final price is $26k, what do you guys think? What else should I look for before purchasing this car? Thanks in advance!

26k???? That sounds insanely cheap. Something can't be right.

Here is a 2013 with 66k in nice shape near me in PA Prestige too with the 19" peelers. I thought this was a decent deal. Going for $29,994. If its in good shape $26k sounds REALLY good. Has to be a private owner?

This is the link to the car but I've been researching on the dealership and it has horrible reviews. People were saying how they buy cars from auctions and faking the car fax? Not sure how one would do that but when I clicked on the car fax it looks good?

That is way below auction pricing. I'd be skeptical.

Sounds cheep. And you can fake websites really easy. And the Lease on the carfax is weird. Why would anyone lease a car and put double the allowable milage on the car. I would stay away. Price is super cheap. It should be close to 30's

I know! Was thinking about trading my 2010 Deep Sea Blue S5 in for it if they gave me a nice number!

I really worry about that DCT failure without warranty. It can possible be a VERY very pricey fix.

They have a 2010 S4 listed for $400 less than the 2013. Something has to be wrong with the 2013 or they made a big mistake in pricing.

I might stop in this weekend and see what they offer trade in wise on my 2010 S5 for giggles. It's like a 50 min trip down the highway. I owe a little less on my S5 than what blue blook quotes for average "trade in." If they offer something silly I'll just say adios amigo lol.

30k is where I want to be around being I don't want to go back to another big car payment nor have to put down a big downpayment. Without that warranty I might lose sleep with that DSG lol.

According to Audi, a price around $30k for a 2013 is right on the money. A 2013 leased new has a residual buyout of about $30k at the end of its lease, and that's assuming 36k miles. Cars with more miles and fewer options will obviously sell for less. If you've been watching the B8.5 S4 market (which I have been, closely), you'll see that there are a lot of 2013's hovering around $30k.

I should wait & enjoy my B8 S5 for another year & wait for the B9 S4 to hit the floor. Thus dropping the price right where I'd like it on the B8/B8.5 S4's. Although that price seems nice for the options etc.

"Clean" trade in on my car, which it is with its miles is $23,500 via NADA. I owe like $21,000 I believe. Wonder what they'd offer as a trade in.

I won't be surprised when people start trying to inflate the price of used B8.5 S4's since you won't be able to get the B9 with DSG or manual, at least at launch.

Well I'd need a DSG anyway since me and my fiancé split the car sometimes. So I don't see why the B8.5 price would inflate in DSG flavor. The 8 speed auto in the new B9 is probably better. I can't see them going backwards with the tech, the B9 has more power, it's +21 HP, and + 49lbs torque.

People love & hate DSG. It's great if you are covered by warranty. But so help god it breaks & you aren't under warranty, you better dig REALLY deep in those pockets lol. I just seen a guy who got his done if not for warranty, the work was $12,000. Hell to the No for me! Lol.

Sure, but look at all the outrage here on AZ when it was announced that the B9 would be an 8spd tiptronic only instead of DSG. All the race car drivers here on Audizine lost their shit.

Understandable, for those who seriously track their car or are a enthusiast. My friend has always driven 6spd, and I get it it's just normal to him. I use to be a manual guy, with all my S4 B5's. But with the tech now of days in auto & how I just spiritually DD the car, I'll take the DSG. I manually shift my S5 via the paddles 70% of the time just because it feels better & more fun. However that other 30% I just don't feel like clicking paddles and saving on the gas I just stick it in D or S. I'm a cruiser anymore, I just need my car to look good, & sound good when I pull up to the valet area. Good enough for me. :) And when I feel like doing some fun driving on backroads or highways I'll switch over to the paddles.

Plus I have no choice, the fiancé needs to be able to drive it sometimes. Who's going to drive me home from a night out to dinner and I had too many adult beverages lol!

Your S5 4.2 is not a DSG though, it's a 6-speed tiptronic. The only B8 S5's that were DSG were the cabriolet with the 3.0T.

I know it's not, shifts fast enough for me. 6 speed because the 4.2 redline is higher & doesn't need 7 gears. But I realize the the DSG is much better in all ways. So if I'm happy with how my S5 shifts now, I'll be thrilled with the DSG. But I'm really weary without a warranty on the trans... Very weary...

Everything feels slow or "slower" that I drive if I've recently been on my ZX-10R 1000cc bike lol.

I hear you. My allroad had the 8spd tip that will be in the B9 S4, and it was great. A manual would have made the car more "engaging," sure, but I'm not sure a DSG would have changed my opinion of the car all that much. We'll see when the B9 allroad shows up with a DSG.

I would have went for a 6spd, but I couldn't with my fiancé. After all she helps me afford these things. That said as I get older I've grown used to it. I'm a cruiser anymore. I don't even push my 1000cc bike anymore like it should be. I just enjoy the extra torque for less shifting in traffic compared to say a 600cc lol.

I would like to test drive a 4.2 RS5 with the DSG, see how it feels in the high rev RPMS of 7000rpm screaming. Oddly the RS5 has like 15-20lbs less torque compared to the 4.2 S5.
