2010 Audi S4 vs 2014 Mercedes C63 AMG vs 2015 Camaro SS (all modded, friendly roll)

First off, I know the video sucks... We're all enthusiasts here though and the point is to share how our s4 stacks up against these modded v8 cars. Was suppose to be recorded by the hellcat chally but his cam didn't work so a 6.4L Charger SRT played catch up and got it from behind.

I'll share the results honestly.. 40-13x roll, 39F

    First Mods:

14 C63: OE ECU tune, driver only

15 Camaro SS: Tune, intake, headers, cam, corsa exhaust, auto, driver only

10 S4: APR stg 2, dual pulley, intake.. FBO, see sig. Stock TCU. 93/e85 on 100 octane APR map, driver + 150lb passenger

    Results:
We ran twice, got the first on video. Pretty much dead even with the C63 to 13x, had him by a 1/4 car... Camaro's front bumper was near my rear door... Second race Merc took the hit and had me by a 1/4 car.. The camaro was basically right next to me... All very close!

    Conclusion:
This old 3.0L v6 can still keep up with these newer big 6.2L v8's!
Can't wait for the strip to open. Will be my last year with the car likely. Actually got an offer for the car on this night! Peaked someones interest with this run

    Video:

Just for perspective, here's the same camaro running with a mild ecu tune F10 m5 (what the video would've looked like had the hellcats camera worked!):

Will try to post more head to heads this season with better video.

Lol sakimano pointed out the same thing. Technically the 63's motor is older yes... Going by model year those cars are newer... Still, I find it impressive that 3.0T can keep up with those large 6.2L v8s.

With a proper tune for my setup I should be able to pull on these guys next time around

    gotcha, makes sense.

the SC/turbo 6 is becoming the norm vs. the V8s due to CAFE standards. Same reason I will look at a new 2017 Raptor this fall with the TTV6 that will have more tq and hp than the last with the V8 w/ better fuel economy. win, win, win.

    nice vid bro.

    Thanks brotha.

Raptor would be sweet! Fords ecoboost motors, both the 4 and 6 cylinders seem to have good tuning potential. Boost is a wonderful thing. One things for sure though, can't beat the sound that AMG makes!

Same result I had with a c63. 50-135 we were together the whole time. Pulled a quarter of a car on me between shifts but I was on pump gas. I want a rematch with 93/e85 on the race map I'm pretty sure I'm gonna pull a car or 2

I was checking those 2016 Charger/Challenger Scat pack 6.4L V8. For 40k you get A LOT of car, 485hp 475lbs of torque from the 6.4 liter. They look pretty nasty & cool with the facelift on the new 2016's. Granted it's American so it won't hold its value like a German car. But it's A LOT of car for 40k brand spanking new. I've seen them run as low as a 12.2 in the 1/4 mile. It's a 6.4 V8 but it does have the feature where it essentially can turn into a 6 cylinder on the highway to conserve gas.

Both those car have older engines as well. I had a 6.2 Camaro SS back in 2010. I am impressed the 3.0T can keep up with that though because I remember my SS put me back in my seat every time I stepped on it lol. Did a run against a friends mustang 5.0 though and got demolished

Nice! If the 63 is bone stock you should be able to edge him out on a good race map

You'd be surprised how well the scat packs are going to hold their value. They are highly sought after... I happen to daily drive a Charger scat pack. It's one of the best values out there right now IMO.

My best on the measly 245 stock tires is 12.2@111 so they are pretty stout for a full size sedan. Trying for 11's this season with my 275's. I absolutely love mine and would highly recommend it if you're considering one. That 6.4 hemi with the 8 speed is an absolute beast. Plenty of nice creature comforts too

My buddy ran 11.8 with his challenger scat pack on some nitto nt555r's.. Pretty solid ET for a big car

The S4 is a fast car. I remember when I got into my C63 it felt faster in a different way because of the way it delivers power but it didnt feel that much faster than the S4 until I ran it. Now with dual pulley and e85 blend setups the S4 is a car that can keep up with or edge out a stock P31 C63. A tuned one (depending on tune) will be more of a driver/conditions race. If the C63 has Long tubes though... Thats when things get tough. But great job with that thing

To all the guys talking about the Scat Pack, I test drove a Challenger scat pack 6MT and it was a great sounding car with a nice amount of power but it felt VERY heavy which is weird and it also didnt feel as fast as my AMG but I know the numbers are there. Maybe the engine was still too tight as the car had 15 miles. That hemi makes a glorious sound though.

Thanks man. My buddy plans to do headers so we'll run them again I'm sure. I hope to have a tune that makes a little more top end by then..

Also the hemi's cam isn't fully active until after break in. That's probably why it didn't feel as stout. I felt like my car really came alive after 3k miles
