Just an FYI, hate to be captain buzzkill, but do like to help ppl save money. There was a huge court case between sharper image and consumer reports about ionizers and their ineffectiveness. Sharper image sued consumer reports for defamation (consumer reports said ionizer sucked) and then sharper image was unable to substantiate the claims it made for the ionizer. Doesn't seem worth the dough, but maybe it does have some merit and or placebo effects.

Also great thread! Been looking to get a good looking CF key case.

Fit is really good. It does add a layer of bulk to the overall key though. In that video I showed what it looked like up close after using it for a few weeks so it still retains its shine. Carbon fiber looks better in person than in pictures.

My only concern is that today when I was driving to the store, an indicator came up asking if the key was in the vehicle. I pulled it out of my backpack and it went away. So I think too many layers plus the key cover might limit its range.

I was the eBay high bidder on a pair of gap fillers - $.31 shipped. I actually was the high and only bidder another pair - $.99 shipped. Going to try to use a pair to cover up the front seat tracks. If it doesn't work, no great loss.

Thanks for the suggestions! I picked up a keysmart and thr cf cover. Love both so far.

The cf cover feels very sturdy and looks amazing but is a b**** to remove or take off once snapped on.

I got the CF key cover as well but has anyone noticed that it kills the range of how far away you can be from car to lock/unlock? A few times the car did not recognize the key to start the car with the key on passenger seat. Though maybe the battery was going dead but took key out of cover and started acting normal.
