They seem related. If the manifold runner flap isnt operating correctly due to electrical faults you'll get boost issues.

Common issue with the motor. Intake runner flaps get stuck open. A solvent clean will help a little (maybe).

Otherwise you'll need to replace your intake manifold and runner flap motor.

    Thank you very much... both
My delay in responding was in trying to research more the advice against the codes.
Can't say I've had much luck following extensive searches.
The specific reasons for the codes seem different than in every other posted instance I can find.
Not sure whether just to start changing simple/cheap stuff... or remove and inspect... or other external testing?
Guess I'll get my head under the hood and see what I can find...
Appreciated... and will let you know how it goes.

I bet this is another side effect of DFI , coked up intake runners jamming the flaps.

Just for a start, I decided idea to take off the motorized intake flap and clean. It wasn't that dirty, and what cold there was came off easily with brake cleaner. I also sprayed the connector with contact fluid and refitted.
I did notice the rest position for the flap was with approx 1/8" open. Would be great if someone could confirm that?
    Thanks,

    200 miles and no CEL.
Previously it came on after minimal miles with multiple codes, I had cleared the CEL's half a dozen times, to check consistency.
Anyway, not quite counting my chickens yet, but the cleaning does seem to have made it think harder/longer!
I would still like to know if the rest position for the flap should be ~1/8" open?

Use VCDS to re-adapt the manifold flap motor and potentiometer (V157)

Yes, did that already, apologies for not clarifying.
    And all is still well!

Well.... lasted nearly a week without a code (CEL)!

And the new codes are slightly different.... now getting this EVAP system, Very Small Leak Detected - Intermittent code.

Anyone any ideas when this code is combined with Boost pressure regulation code?

Doesn't seem to be pointing to the Intake flap valve anymore, since I cleaned it, but I don't know enough to really tell!

    Thanks, codes below:
