Yes, many of us have this. There is another thread where someone explains what this is. I forget so won't guess here, but I do know it's not a problem.

I think it's a bubble in the cooling system. I remember reading that it will not occur again if coolant tank is bled properly

Coolant flowing through the heater core, with air pockets or turbulence.

This, Gm's are really common to this. You just need to get the dealer or someone to bleed the cooling system out correctly. If you have a buddy with a vacuum lift it will do it and no more noise. I have the noise and it happens when I take off from a stop after it has been sitting for like 30 sec or so.

I have had this noise for 100,000 miles. Some people say its an issue, most say its not. Everyone who has the noise has no issues from it.

Very thankful that I found this thread as I always wondered if it was merely a bubble in the system.. Thanks!

My coolant has never been too low. Not worried.

I get this occasionally if I'm sitting with the music off after some light driving. Does it sounds kind of like a bubbly, gurgly noise to you guys too? I imagine it's just bubbles in the coolant line, but it does give me little mini-heart attacks since I'm in a 2010 with the old water pump.

The old waterpump design has nothing to do with the air bubble noise in the heater core.
