B8 Ko4 owners follow up thread

I recently added 6 cylinders (inline) and 2 turbos to my lineup....all under 1 hood. Meet the N54 6MT 335i. Found this beauty garaged and stashed away with 3300 original miles, still had factory plastic on the pedals. Absolutely perfect condition cosmetically.

My A4 will continue to be a daily driving highway warrior, with the 335i being my weekend/project fun car. Plenty of potential in the N54. In stock form, it pulls just as hard as the K04 however the powerband is much wider (2000-7000 pull). Handling of the RWD and 50/50 weight balance is incredible. Tuning potential is endless.

I'll still be poking around these forums and chiming in where I can. I've met many good people on here over the years and felt guilty keeping this to myself.

What a find!! That’s a crazy low amount of miles.

I really miss mine - had an 07 335i. Was so much fun to drive.

Well I’m back home for the summer and started my new project. I started with CTS downpipe, FMIC and upgraded plumbing. With a stage 2 file, this 3000 lb GTI is really fun to drive. The main issue is keeping the wheels from spinning below 60 MPH. It has lots of low-mid range torque. I’ll probably upgrade to K04 eventually but for now I’m just gonna have fun driving it as is.

Hp tuners, the sq5 guys have been using for years. several of them are very knowledgeable in the tuning of the zf8.
