Where are potential vacuum leaks on Q7 with 4.2 engine?

Our Q7 with the 4.2 engine suddenly developed all kinds of troubles, everything from ESP, EPC, ABS, you name the code and we got it...it barely runs, and frequently dies at idle. I've checked all fuses in 4 locations around the vehicle and they are okay. I swapped out he gas pedal with another one and there was no change. So I'm suspecting that the throttle body may be bad. I'm also looking for vacuum leaks. While looking and feeling around the oil filter area, I can hear what sounds like a "hiss" of air but cant really tell where it is coming from. There are coolant lines in this area, and maybe a couple of vacuum lines. There is a "suction pump" with an electrical connector on it, and it sort of feels like air is being sucked in through this connector...if that's possible. I've been doing on-line research but there isn't much out there for these vehicles. Does anyone have any helpful hints regarding potential vacuum leak points? Thank You.

Well as it turns out there aren't very many places for vacuum leaks. We checked all hoses and connection points - nothing. So I'm now thinking the problem is the throttle body, so that's the next thing on my list to do.
