Can a different size vacuum nipple be added to IM?

Soooooo I'm running a TiAL QR Bov recirc and it really recommends running a 1/4" vacuum line straight to the intake mani.
I had a 1/32 line on there at first and had alot of issues.
Swapped it to a 1/8" line and its a bit better but i feel the tiny nipples on the AEB manifold are just restricting it too much.

My question here is, are the nipples in the intake manifold threaded into it, or are they cast into the manifold?
If i can take out the small nipple, drill, and tap a 1/4" nipple on one side, I'd be golden.
Any and all help is appreciated.

Was also thinking of running a boost tap into one of the extra ports on the IM since i did the SAI and EVAP delete and have 2 or 3 ports just blocked off.

    Symptoms that I'm having:
Fluttering under full boost (22-32 psi)
Overboosting to 32psi (max is set to 22)

    Hardware:
    Brand new n75
    Brand new 3" billet MAF
    Motoza base file
Brand new GTX2876R eilminator with internal wastegate
TiAL QR BOV (black spring) ran a plain and yellow spring before and it was just fluttering non stop.

The nipples are pressed in. You can drill and tap a hole and use a threaded nipple instead.

Awesome. That being said, any tips on removing the OEM one? Don't want to just yank on it with pliers incase it breaks or snaps off.
