Quick question in regards to our starter.

So i noticed my batt voltage has been jumping from 11.3 - 14.0... did a quick walkthrough of the wiring and noticed the nut that connects the + lead to the starter is missing

anyone happen to know what size the nut was before i go and buy 5 of the wrong sizes? Tried searching ECS database for it but it usually comes with the starter. From some DIY's i know its a 13mm nut, just dont know the thread size.

EDIT: i think i just found my answer on ETKA, does M8 sound right?

If you have an extra 13mm bolt from your car laying around, it is most likely the same. Just throw it on. Or grab the easiest one to remove from your car and bring it with you to the hardware store.

I believe it will be M8x1.25 (metric eight millimeter by one twenty five thread pitch).

The exact part number is:
N01111816

And it is supposed to have a lock washer on it:
N0120387

Each are $1 at the dealer, but they would probably not have them in stock.

ended up just getting a regular washer and a M8 lock nut. Voltage now holds 14.0-14.2! :)
