    Just got a 98 a4 1.8t quattro what the best support mods to do that will work with stock software??? Also I am gonna install a clutch and flywheel was researching a vr6 clutch and g60 flywheel..I need some LUK part numbers

    I did use Google thats where I was reading about vr6/g60 flywheel on 1.8t just needed to know if that combo works on a4

    You sure that fits an A4? Never heard anyone using one, and the only thread I saw says it's for mk's.

    They use a 228mm clutch anyways. I see zero benefit to using that flywheel even if it is possible.

    why do you want to change the clutch? is the clutch slipping? if not, dont touch it until it starts slipping. when it does go, you dont want g60 parts, you want the 240mm upgrade if you are going with a whole new kit including the flywheel.

    since you just got the car, you should make sure it is 100% mechanically sound before you do ANY mods.

    ^^this. Then, get a boost gauge and fix all those problems.

    I got the car for $600...compression 165psi all 4......needed Ignition module because of cylinder 2 misfire, the l/f axle was hanging of the axle cup the car wouldn't move...so the kid thought it needed a clutch, the interior is worn out.I replaced all crankcase hoses....The trans is hard to shift through the gears even with the engine off with it it running it does shift but it's notchy pedal feels good but I think it has release problem
