Noisy steering after engine been running for 30 minutes or so. Any ideas?

I usually only see it if I leave the car parked with the engine running for 20 minutes or so (need AC).

From the outside of the car, the noise is quite loud and right next to the front right wheel.

does it make the noise if the engine is off ? sounds like something's really wrong with a ball joint or something like that.

I'd inspect all the suspension components first . (doesn't sound like a power steering problem IMO )
