JHM solid linkage and stabalizer bushing noises....I think

I installed this when i replaced my motor and trans two months ago and I know there is a lot of NVH with this set up. I'm getting a noise every time I shift. It sounds like its coming from around the trans, but there is also the "clunk" I think coming from the back. I have the ECS rear diff mount and I have the Street Density rear diff carrier mounts as well. The only thing i can think of is that I tightened the ECS mount before letting the car idle. Almost like how your supposed to install snub mounts. What noises do you here from your JHM shifter upgrades if you have them?

I get a whine from the transmission due to the stabilizer bushing being replaced by the delrin unit but other than that there doesn't seem to be anything else. My exhaust is loud as hell though so it's hard to say what I might be missing as far as sound goes.

What other drivetrain mounts do you have?

Other than an AWE tuning DTS everything mount wise is stock.

Have you checked the driveshaft center support?

No need to tighten the rear diff mounts at idle since they aren't loaded or moving like the engine and trans.

You shouldn't have clunking with the stabilizer and linkage, you should hear a distinct gear noise at all times from the delrin bushing. Installing a couple rubber washers on the sides of the delrin can drastically cut down the noise.

I have checked the center support and it seems to be fine. I drove around without the heat shield on the center sections of the exhaust but only for 2 weeks. I went back and checked every drivetrain mount on the car and it's still there. And aren't symptoms of a bad center bearing having vibration all the time underneath the arm rest? And I want to put some rubber washers on that Delrin.

I get transmission noise at the shifter, with JHM upgraded linkage joint and JHM solid shifter. Kept the stock stabilizer rod bushings though. It changes depending on gear, it's worst in 4th, and there's a little whine in 5th. No clunking, but your clunking could be from the ring & pinion in the rear diff.

All my mounts are upgraded: 034 street density motor and trans mounts, Apikol street rear diff mount, Stern rear diff bushings.

Is there a way to check out the rear diff?

I have the same differential mounts as you do, and also hear the same clunking you're describing, however I only started hearing it after installing the ecs mount. I always thought it was normal

This just started after I installed the ECS mount. I wonder if that's the issue.
