Looking for B8 S4 specific pre-warranty checklist / issues to attend to:

Its a 2012 B8 - 70,000 km / 44,000 miles on the clock

Mechanical - I know one of the motor mounts is leaking. Anything else any of you have experienced before coming off warranty? I do have notice of extended warranty from Audi on some sort of carbon build-up issue.

Interior - is OK but the centre arm rest has always been shitty (slides to easily - has anyone had it replaced under warranty?)

Exterior - is OK

I will not be getting an extended warranty

biggest one is the coolant slosh in the dash when you move from a stop. i have to take mine in for that. Seems like a common thing

I urge you to get extended warranty if you are getting S-tronic.

If the mechatronics go bad, you are looking at $7000 ish repair cost.
It might not happen to you but it could be time bomb.
